Fortune Magazine has rolled out its annual “Best Workplaces in Aging Services” list. Just like last year, a number of home-based care companies were featured.
Fortune creates this list based on its “Trust Index,” which gauges workers’ experience by collecting their view and opinions about their employer. This process involves them filling out 60 statements using a five-point scale and answering two open-ended questions.
The list utilizes survey responses from more than 140,000 employees from Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies in the aging services industry.
As home-based care providers continue to navigate recruitment and retention challenges, many are taking measures to make improvements that will help attract new workers and hold onto current staff.
Companies like Senior Helpers, Reliant at Home and Care to Stay Home grabbed top spot on the list in 2022 and made a return appearance this year.
